Juggling

Juggling is a great way to develop your concentration in a relaxed way and similar, once you have learnt it, to meditation. It’s also great fun!!! . Once you have learnt how to juggle it is a very relaxing thing to do and a very rewarding pastime. Anyone who is willing to spend a few hours picking up dropped balls can learn to juggle! It is easier than most people think, even children can learn starting at around age 7 or 8. But be warned, while picking juggling up isn't too hard, quitting is nearly impossible..

Juggling brings great balance to your body by developing the skill of using your left and right hands at the same time. This develops your ambidexterity... and .... it’s not as hard as it looks!!!!

Basic 3-ball Juggling

Basic types of juggling

3- ball juggling

Start with 2 balls and once you “get” this (simple!!!) then gaduate to 3. This is the most basic form of ball juggling. Practice on your own, keep one all up at all times and as soon as you can keep the balls moving comfortably in a cascade for around 20 throws you’re ready to try some tricks!!

4-ball juggling

A graduate of the 3 ball juggling academy, you’re now ready to move on to the big stuff!! Again, try to work a cascade, but remember, the harder the tricks, the slower the progression will be!!

Diabolos

If you want to be a big hit at the next Full Moon Party at Had-Rin then Diabolos are for you!! Diabolos are one of the coolest juggling toys going. It's sort of like a Yo-yo which can be thrown high into the air (50 ft or more !), and then caught on the string again.

You can learn the basics and leave it at that or spend years learning new tricks and developing your skills, . The most important thing is to ENJOY yourself. Now go for it!!
