Common perceptions

Without prejudice, there is common percecption that a lot of Fortune Teling is “bunkum” and that there are many Fortune Tellers in business who possess absolutely no skills and who simply dress the part (gypsy style clothes etc.) and who make conclusions about the customer from their clothes and general appearance, and then basically tell them what they think the customer might want to hear.

However there are many who undoubtedly DO possess the gift, and who can be extremely accurate in telling heir customer about themselves, their past (with no hints or prompts) and who make extremely acurate predictions about the future. In many cases, these predictions are not all good news and accurately predict a departure from the Norm, or a sudden change in lifestyle etc.
