Learning the Ukelele
The Ukelele is not a difficult instrument to learn and once you’ve learnt how to play one type you will be able to play them all. The instrument can be a great addition at parties and get togethers and is great for a sing-alongs etc. One of the biggest tips for would-be ukelele players is to remember not to hold the instrument too tightly. Because the ukelele is a relatively small instrument players often tend to wrap themselves around it,and squeeze it, particularly when they are learning and concentrating on getting the notes right!! This has the effect of muffling and dulling the sound which the instrument makes, and you won’t truly master it until you learn to hold and position the instrument properly.
